Before the New Milford Public Library closes for renovation, the Friends of NMPL are hosting one final literary event you won’t want to miss. Their Annual Summer Book Sale—set for July 11–13 at New Milford High School—will be the last sale for at least two years.
Here’s your chance to score incredible deals on thousands of gently used books across all genres:
- Thursday, July 11: Early Bird Hour (9–10 a.m.) for $5 admission; free entry from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Friday, July 12: Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Saturday, July 13: Final day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.—all books half price!
With no book sales planned until the library reopens post-construction, the Friends group urge everyone to “Think ahead and STOCK up!!” Whether you’re building a home library, hunting for summer reads, or looking for gifts, now is the time to act.
